Life is full of experiences beyond our control. Some are exhilarating and pleasurable, while others can be terrifying or heartbreaking. A variety of experiences have brought you to where you are today, and therapy can help you process challenging experiences and discover inner strengths which support you on your journey. My approach is informed by my queer identity, personal experiences, and my education in a variety of therapeutic modalities, human development, and trauma. I firmly believe in a socially mindful, intersectional therapeutic perspective which views individuals as part of larger systems that impact our daily lives. I strive to create a therapeutic space which is welcoming to a broad range of identities, and regard all people as the experts of their own experiences.

As your therapist, I position myself as a collaborator to help you build the life that works best for you by providing a nonjudgmental space to explore your feelings, challenges, and desires. I utilize trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches. I also believe that humor and warmth are helpful when creating a safe therapeutic relationship through which we can process difficult or painful moments together. My goal is to help you navigate barriers that keep you stuck and identify tools which can help you seek out a life that feels authentic and joyful. Whether you still feel the impacts of trauma from the past, struggle to find grace for yourself in the present, or feel unsure of where to go next, my role is to provide compassionate witness and affirming guidance as you uncover the skills and capacities to forge your path.
