Clinical Intern

I am open to new clients at this time.

One of the hardest steps of the therapeutic process is what you’re going through now. Searching to find the counselor that aligns with your needs can feel daunting. I commend you for taking the first steps. My long experience with finding a therapist with shared identities and values was the catalyst to me entering the counseling profession.

I value creating a space where transformation can occur through exchanges of knowledge from your life experience and my education. The theories I intend to integrate into the space are Psychodynamic, Adlerian, and Mindfulness. I remain open to other theories according to what best meets your needs. I have clinical interest in anxiety, depression, grief, death/dying, and utilizing music for art therapy. I am being dually trained in Sport and Human Performance to do mental performance consulting for anyone looking to improve their skills (athletes, artistic performers, childbirth, etc).

With a background in community organizing and social justice advocacy I aim to intentionally provide a therapeutic brave space for Black lesbians and non-binary Black people. Additionally, I am excited to provide space to all clients ready to begin their journey! A space where one can authentically show up to sessions without fear of judgements. Let’s share knowledge and work together to ignite your rebirth.
