Welcome! If you’re reading this, you’ve likely been considering starting or returning to therapy for some time, and the research portion of the process is a daunting step. I believe there is so much power in the choice to invest in better understanding yourself and extending curiosity to your innermost parts, and I would be honored to join you on your internal expedition.

My foremost goal as a therapist is to build a space free of judgment and filled with unconditional acceptance so that you can express yourself openly and be fully heard. We will collaborate with curiosity and compassion to investigate and appreciate the challenges, insights, and triumphs of your ongoing story. My practice is founded in evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness, with the purpose of recognizing, exploring, and dismantling the harmful patterns of thought and emotion that can trap us in shame and judgment. It’s important to me that our work together speaks to the way you think and feel, so I am always on the lookout for opportunities to integrate somatic, existential, narrative, and other therapeutic approaches to address your unique experience.

The dominating cultural concept of therapy leans on the heavy and dark sides of emotion, but therapy is a lot of things including joyful, silly, and sometimes entirely ridiculous! Where humor and levity can be found, let’s appreciate them together.

I am in-network with BCBS (PPO, Blue Choice PPO, & Blue Choice Options) and Aetna (PPO, POS, Choice, & CVS Health HMO). For out-of-network insurance, I can provide you with superbills to get reimbursed by your insurance company. I can take self-pay and/or sliding scale clients.
